Kevin Lanoue Coaching
Hi, and Welcome!
Thank you for taking a moment to view my website.
For over a decade, I have offered support to individuals and groups in private practice, renowned residential treatment centers, online trainings and courses, and social justice & community outreach contexts.
Prior to this incarnation, I studied literature and economics in undergraduate school, poetry and film in graduate school, and law (focus in the Indigenous People’s Law Clinic), and worked in adjacent fields. Then a little over 10 years ago, I found a new sense of purpose, effectiveness, and inspiration in this work.
It’s my belief — and experience — that all healing is relational, and occurs in the context and dynamics of our connections with, among other things:
ourselves and our bodies
a variety of safe others
the present moment
individual, collective, and historical trauma
complex systems
place and the natural world
meaningful values and activities
hopes and visions for the future
change
As the Associate Director of Integrative Medicine at Sierra Tucson, I created programming, developed treatment plans, trained staff, and worked directly with residents in one-to-one and group settings to support their recovery from trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, physical pain, and co-occurring diagnoses.
At Cottonwood Tucson, I support residents in their recovery in one-to-one sessions (focusing on nervous system regulation and embodiment practices) and in group experiential learning workshops I’ve developed, with topics including The Art and Science of Connection, Nervous System Regulation and Co-Regulation, Somatic Toolkit, Boundaries and Growth, How We Change, Anti Habit, Wavelength, Individual & Collective Healing, and Grief & Grieving.
In private practice, I offer one-to-one somatic sessions rooted in nervous system regulation, interpersonal neurobiology, mindfulness, and trauma integration. I work from the knowing that we all have an innate orientation towards healing, wholeness, vitality, kinship, and love. My support for a client in individual sessions is in co-exploring, finding, and nurturing that which serves their unique expression of well-being and fulfillment. I also offer classes and workshops in person and online.
I am an Organic Intelligence (“OI”) Practitioner living and working on the lands of the Tohono O’odham & Yaqui peoples of the Sonoran Desert, in so called Tucson, Arizona.
I offer individual sessions and workshops in person and online. My work is offered through the primary lens and protocols of Organic Intelligence, and is further informed by mindfulness and nature-based practices, lived experience, gifts received from others, professional mentorship, and other education through courses and trainings including Interpersonal Neurobiology (Dan Siegel), Relational Trauma Therapy (Merete Holm Brantjberg), Internal Relational Focusing (Eugene Gendlin tradition), and We Will Dance With Mountains courses (Bayo Akomolafe, and guest teachers including Prentis Hemphill, Adrienne Maree Brown, and Joanna Macy).
